The show was a joy to watch! It was clear to see how much the participants were getting from taking part, and the whole experience of being involved in a project of this kind. The fact that the project culminated in a performance in a real theatrical setting with a live audience, made the product of the project feel very professional and together with the process of making the show, made for a highly successful outcome. It was clear to see how thrilled everyone in the production and the audience were with the experience. I smiled from start to finish!

The Land of Good will is a very good show, and I really enjoyed seeing the cast in the show.

My Son relished every week developing this show. He has kept secret his role until the performance. I recognised that each participant had been supported to go that bit further from their comfort zone. Seeing their confidence and pleasure at the end of the show was impressive, heartwarming and entertaining – could be on the West End!

“The Land of Good Will” was a magical spectacular. The storyline was enchanting- proving at the end that Love and kindness overcomes adversity. The cast were amazing – special praise for the pianist, Narrator, Unicorn, King Will & Princess. Loved the sea voyages – so clever. Well done all involved.

I liked it, it was a lot of fun! I loved being the Witch on the stage. My family came to watch, they liked it.

I loved being a Unicorn, I changed the Evil Witch to feel love. I loved singing in solo and duets and with the whole group. I loved the audience and definitely would like to do another project in the future. Danusia was extremely fun and involved us all.

I liked being able to be a cat and I liked people watching me. Would like to do another project.

I liked picking my part in the play. I liked singing; it made me feel happy. I liked seeing the people watch me.

I liked that everyone got to pick their part in the play and enjoyed seeing it all come together in the end. Also enjoyed seeing the audience smile and laugh.

The writing was fantastic; letting the class decide what they wanted to be was really great. Being able to have a part that was focused/included each individual solo. It was good to perform in front of family and friends, inviting them to see the hard work that we had been putting in over the weeks. Getting to do something creative and imaginative gave everyone a chance to explore and express themselves.

It was Good Fun, great being altogether and walking into the theatre with family watching.

Plenty of time to hear ideas, and also to discuss changes. Good clear direction, so it was easier to learn what to do. Learning to work together so each of us could enjoy and understand the plot. Enjoyed the freedom of expression that was built into the play as it was formed across the weeks.

When asked if they would like to do a project like this sometime, everyone said Yes!
