Future Projects

• 2 sets of writing workshops in Women’s Refuges Oct 2026 and Jan 2027 & staging their writing at The Wolsey Theatre Ipswich and Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds

• Development of the musical “Tough Love”, with composer and actors, & rehearsed reading Oct 2026 at The New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich

​

• Working with UFAC to write a play about mental health of farmers and agricultural workers, highlighting the very high suicide rate, currently 4 workers per week

​

• Fund raising for 2027/28 UK tour of “The Wisdom Club” partnering with Age UK, Care Uk and The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds.

The Hal Company is a charitable incorporated organisation that provides playwrighting workshops, giving people the chance to write their stories and then share this writing using professional actors. Some of the stories are then made into full-length plays which Hal then stages and tours.
